Music may very well be something that you want your child to learn, but with a continuing bad economy it's possible that you think it can't fit into your budget right now. You could wait and let your child begin learning to play a musical instrument when the current financial crisis is over, or you could take a look at a free classified website.
In a time when money is short, a free classified website can give you a great way of getting things you want at a price you can afford. Unlike the instrument itself and books/accessories, strings and reeds must be new if they are to be any good to your child. For tuition, you will need to search through services rather than items. Search on your child's chosen instrument, your geographic location and "tuition" to see who is offering musical tuition services in your area. Find someone who is a qualified musician in the instrument your child will be learning and if possible get references from other parents before signing your child up.
Learning to play a musical instrument is a good skill for any child, but it can be expensive. Use a free classified website to lower the cost and give your child the opportunity to bring the magic of music into their life.
